Detroit Lions Fired 'Several' Staff Members, Released 2 Players For Gambling

The Detroit Lions have a gambling problem. Lions WRs Jameson Williams and Stanley Berryhill were suspended six games for violating the NFL's gambling policy. WR Quintez Cephus and safety C.J. Moore, meanwhile, were suspended indefinitely for betting on NFL games. And to make matters worse, several staff members for the Lions were dismissed in March for violating the league's gambling policy. Lions general manager Brad Holmes released a statement on this messy situation...

"These players exhibited decision making that is not consistent with our organizational values and violates league rules. We have made the decision to part ways with Quintez and C.J. immediately.
