Saints Reportedly Re-Sign Notable WR And Veteran Cornerback
© Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports
The New Orleans Saints have re-signed WR Chris Hogan. Hogan signed with the Saints back in July, but New Orleans released him when it trimmed its roster to 53 players last week...
According to Ian Rapoport, the Saints hosted veteran cornerback Desmond Trufant for a workout on Monday and are now expected to sign him...

The 30-year-old veteran briefly had an opportunity with the Chicago Bears this summer, but didn’t make the 53-man roster and has been a free agent for the last week.He last played six games for the Detroit Lions in 2020, racking up 20 tackles, a sack and an interception. However, an injury ended his season early and the organization released him in March.
