It's the right thing to do. Drew has earned the right to play out his last days in uniform with the team... and town he rebuilt.

He's lucky Jim Finks isn't around. Ole Jim would have labeled Brees as a 'declining' player and I would somewhat agree. Glad he resigned, but 50 million? How is that a 'bargain' price?
