Is Florida State QB Jameis Winston Looking Fat?
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
This picture of Florida State QB Jameis Winston looking out of shape while training with QB coach George Whitfield in January popped up on the interwebs on Saturday morning and it's creating a bit of buzz...

No way, right? Per Whitfield...
quote:

“The photo of Jameis was taken in early-mid January,” Whitfield said by phone. “If people are saying he looks out of shape – well, did they notice he had the leash tight around his waist? That may have had something to do with it,” he laughed. “Jameis is in shape and doing great. Anyone saying he’s out of shape, they can check him out at the Combine this week.”

Actually now that I think about it the only way you have that build at 21 while being an athlete is if you are an alcoholic, that would explain so much of his behavior.

He's round. That's a "shape". So technically his coach is right

Lol, I am 36 and don't work out at all and am bigger than him and look more athletic. Obviously he is in 100X time better "shape" than me when it comes to conditioning but if he looks like that at 21 its not a good sign, dude need some juice.
