Northwestern's Seniors Got To Design Their Own Awesome Jerseys For Purdue Game

When Northwestern plays Purdue on Saturday while celebrating senior day, the team will be rocking uniforms designed by the Wildcats seniors. And they're pretty awesome..

Those are straight-up 1990's Vancouver Grizzlies knock offs. Not even kidding. Go type in "1990's vancouver grizzlies" into Google images. It's the exact same. The font style on the front, the stylized design around the collar and arm openings and waistband, and even the oversized logo on the left leg of the shorts. Even the logo is a ripoff. Used a cartoon wildcat with a basketball instead of a grizzly with a basketball.

Regardless of what people outside the program think of the design, I appreciate that the school and Under Armor allowed the kids who played and poured their hearts into the program for 4 years were allowed to choose their final uniform. Hopefully this will catch on with other schools and other brands.
