Former UNLV Coach Jerry Tarkanian Has Passed Away

Legendary basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian has passed away at age 84. He had been hospitalized since Monday for a a respiratory ailment and infection.
Tarkanian, known as "Tark the Shark", coached at Long Beach State, the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and Fresno State University in his college career with a 729–201 career coaching record (78.4%).
As head coach of UNLV, Tarkanian won the 1990 National championship and went to 4 Final Fours.
He also coached the NBA's San Antonio Spurs for twenty games during the 1992-93 NBA season.
