At one point in today's practice session at Monza Circuit in Monza, the Aston Martin Vantage that Formula 1 uses as a safety car was speeding into a turn when the brakes failed and sent the car spinning out ahead of this weekend's Italian Grand Prix. Not so "safe"...

The safety car drivers are really pushing the limits because the F1 cars need quick pace laps to keep their brakes up to temp, the engines cool, and the tire temps high enough. So they are on the limit with these safety cars. Having brake failure though is crazy though.
