Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper came into Thursday night's game against the Cardinals in a little bit of a slump. So he mixed it up by not wearing his batting gloves at the plate in the sixth inning, which was followed by this 434-foot home run to the third deck of the right field seats at Nationals Park...

He then cut up his batting gloves...

i read on another site that he always does this with his old gloves- supposedly so people wont dig them out of the trash and sell them.
