Updated AP Top 25 Women's College Basketball Poll

LSU Women's Basketball (24-4) moved up one spot to No. 6 in the latest AP Top 25.

Last week, the Lady Tigers beat No. 17 Ole Miss 78-70 in Oxford and dominated Missouri 108-55 at the PMAC.

LSU will wrap up the regular season this week by hosting Tennessee on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m. CT, followed by a trip to Mississippi State on Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m. CT.

We can't beat South Carolina simply because we are scared of the brand. I know this team is better than them. You could see our stars crack so hard under the spotlight versus SC. If they can get out of there own heads vs SC we would beat them. Hopefully they see this comment and take action on it. Come on Tigers go win the SEC tournament even if it means getting through SC. Just get out of your head. Your the better team.

We're not afraid of S.Caro., the one thing that has plagued us all year, we're good enough for it not to beat us against average team, but against good teams, well. It's LAY UPS, we miss way, way, wat too many LAY UPS. Against several teams we missed 6, 7 LAY UPS in a row, so many breakaway LAY UPS, fast break LAY UPS, if we make our LAY UPS against S.Caro. we win, the same with Kentucky and Vandy, make the LAY UPS we win. We leave so many points on the court, and it 's everybody, not just the youngsters, if we don't make it to the Final 4 it will be because of missed LAY UPS.

Think #6 is about right for now. Hopefully, we make a strong run and take the SEC tournament and move up to the top four and get a #1 seed.
