Patrick Queen Stadium Dedication Honors Local NFL Star’s Journey and Roots
On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, a ceremony was attended by students, families, and community members, at STEM Magnet Academy @smaeagles where the stadium was officially dedicated and renamed Patrick Queen Stadium in honor of one of Livonia’s most inspiring athletes. Coaches spoke about Patrick Queen’s remarkable journey, tracing his path from the small community of Ventress, through his days as a student-athlete at Livonia High School, onto the fields of @lsufootball @lsu and ultimately, to the @ravens @steelers @nfl
Throughout the evening, coaches reflected on Queen’s unwavering commitment to his hometown and his lasting connection to the people who supported him along the way. Coaches praised his discipline and resilience, emphasizing how Queen’s success on and off the field is grounded in his deep respect for his roots and his gratitude toward the mentors and teachers who shaped his development. Queen, in turn, credited his parents for instilling in him the values and work ethic that led to his achievements.
The community showed their strong support, filling the stands and cheering for both Patrick Queen’s accomplishments and the legacy his name will bring to the stadium. The dedication ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the impact that hard work, family, and community can have on a young person’s dreams and achievements.
