Former LSU head coach Ed Orgeron was on Golic & Golic this week and was asked about Brian Kelly's firing, and what's expected at LSU:
quote:

"The standard is National Championship," Orgeron said. "You get three years to build a team. If you don't, the pressure is going to rise.

"But I do believe that it was obvious that the team was regressing. The decision that they made was the right decision. For Texas A&M to come into our stadium and do the things that they did, especially after the game, was embarrassing for the LSU fan base. So I can understand the decision."

He’s definitely lobbying for a job at LSU, but not a head coaching job.

I love Coach O and would love to have Kiffin at HC with Coach O on the staff. Or Saban at HC.
