I would feel better about this game if we went into it more thinking that it was a normal big SEC game vs. the most important game of their lives. The excess pressure of this one game over the years I think screws with our ability to execute at a high level. There is such a thing as being too hyped.

No. What has fricked with LSU was having a Junior High School offense. That will work when you simply out-talent the other team. When you don't out-talent the other team you get shut down. That is what has happened in the past. LSU also had some serious TVQB issues in the past. Not anymore.

Stop. We have lost for two reasons: 1. Bama has been far better than us in the trenches 2. Our offensive gameplan has been too conservative. This myth that we freeze up because there is too much emphasis on this game has to go. There will ALWAYS be too much emphasis on this game. It doesn't seem to bother the team from Alabama. They always elevate their play against us.
