Sporting News Releases Updated Bowl Projections Following The CFP Rankings

Sporting News updated their College Football Bowl projections after the first set of CFP rankings were released on Tuesday night.

LSU (6-2) is ranked 15th in the CFP rankings and has work in front of them to make the 12-team playoff.

For now, Sporting News has the Tigers playing in the Gator Bowl against Louisville.

The Cardinals (6-3) just knocked off Clemson last week. Their three losses have come against Notre Dame, SMU, and Miami.

LSU can get back into the playoff picture with a win over No. 11 Alabama on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
