LSU tight end Mason Taylor has accepted his invitation to play in the 2025 Senior Bowl.

Taylor, a junior from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been a day 1 starter since arriving on campus in 2022, catching 129 passes for 1,308 yards and six touchdowns in three seasons.

He previously announced in December that he was declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Taylor leaves Baton Rouge as the record holder for receptions and receiving yards by a tight end.

Enjoyed watching and cheering for Mason but you did not play in bowl game due to injury concerns, you should not be invited or allowed to play in the Senior Bowl. Seems like a snub to LSU and I dont think thats what you are about but thats the optics.

Amen to that, Bedtiger. To affiliate a modern day collegiate player to a specific university is becoming ludicrous. One year you're cheering a player, the next year he's playing for Alabama.
