LSU returned to practice on Wednesday with starting right tackle Emery Jones Jr. missing from the action.

Redshirt freshman Tyree Adams ran with the first team and replaced Jones Jr.

The reason for Jones' absence is unknown, but head coach Brian Kelly will likely address it when he meets with the media on Saturday.

For what it's worth, LSU posted a practice picture of Jones Jr. and Will Campbell on Tuesday when the Tigers held a closed practice.

Def not grades Emery is someone you don’t need to worry about with his grades. Hopefully just a minor injury

I don't want to hear anything about grades no more. The way players are being paid, maybe they will get a hall pass on classes too. LOL
