LSU co-offensive coordinator and wide receiver coach Cortez Hankton posted an emotional letter to Kyren Lacy on Instagram this week.
quote:

Coach_Hankton:
"Days have been long... Mornings are hard... Finding words is even harder.... find myself waking up wishing... I wish you could see how many people loved you... How many people you've impacted... I wish you knew how many people you've made laugh or smile... I wish you could see... I wish you could see how much my boys already miss you... I'm grateful that you for always showed up to support them... Trip told me that you were his best friend... Cruz talked about falling asleep on the couch with you... I wish they could tell you themselves... I wish you could see how many great memories you created for a lot of people... I wish you could see... I love you and I miss you... You already know that it's all love always. I wish you know that I'll always have your back.

Always and Forever,

Coach Hank

Wow, just wow. THAT is straight from the heart of someone who loved and cared about one of his players.

Having a coach this connected to his players is great to see. I don’t think you’d see a coach like House with his kids this close to the players.
