LSU sophomore running back Leonard Fournette was named to the 2015 pre-season Maxwell Award watch list on Tuesday.
The Award is presented each season to America’s College Player of the Year since 1937. Per LSUSports.net:

It is the second time in two days Fournette has earned a spot on a preseason watch list as the Paul Hornung Award featured the All-America candidate on Monday.
Fournette made an immediate impact as a true freshman in 2014 when he set the LSU freshman rushing record with 1,034 yards and 10 touchdowns.
