Wilson Alexander of The Advocate reports that LSU linebacker Whit Weeks had surgery on Thursday to repair a broken fibula.

Luckily, Weeks did not suffer any ligament damage and is expected to make a full recovery in a few months.

They realigned it before applying the splint. I doubt the ankle could dislocate in that direction without breaking the fibula in the process.
