Former LSU offensive tackle La'el Collins has reportedly signed with the Dallas Cowboys following a training session last Friday. Per Yahoo Sports:

The addition of Collins comes as the Cowboys deal with multiple injuries at the offensive line during training camp. The team is down five contributors at the positions as training sessions heat up to prepare for the 2025 season.

Collins played seven seasons with the Cowboys after they signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2015. He started at left guard for the first two years, then transitioned to right tackle in 2017. His last time on an NFL roster was with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022. Between both stops, he accumulated 89 appearances with 86 starts.

Collins returned to the Cowboys in 2023 on the practice squad, then moved to the Buffalo Bills during preseason camp in 2024.

Shouldn’t it be “signs” with a new team..and is it a new team since the Cowboys drafted him to begin with, playing multiple years with them?
