Last week against Florida, LSU coach Brian Kelly was on the wrong end of a Weston Davis block, who finished his defender all the way to the sidelines and into Kelly, trucking him to the ground.


On Monday, Kelly talked about the incident and said it was the first time in 35 years that it's happened to him. Per On3:
quote:

“First time in 35 years,” Brian Kelly said. “I got my butt kicked, and I know a lot of people were happy with that, but I’m tellin’ ya — it’s kind of an awkward situation because I was running down the sideline to call a timeout because, as you know, we ran the ball. Caden [Durham] bounced outside, and he didn’t get out of bounds. So, the clock was running. So, I just was running to get to the official, and Weston Davis and one of their linebackers were locked up.”

“I never saw ’em, and I ended up in the first row. Nobody wanted to pick me up, either,” Kelly said. “Which I thought was pretty crazy. But it got me pretty good. I don’t want to be flippant and say that I was in concussion protocol because that’s a serious thing, but I probably could’ve been…

some funny comments below, but all of us crap our pants a bit if Kelly got hurt so bad he was in the hospital for a few months

Where in the hell is Jackson? Berry? JJ has been playing a lot and doing well. Why not put Watkins in on jet sweeps, he is fast as hell. Bad use of talent Sloan.
