Three-star linebacker/defensive end Rahssan Thornton from Killeen, TX announced that he has committed to LSU.

The 6-4, 223-pound prospect gave his verbal pledge to LSU last Thursday but made his public announcement on Wednesday via Twitter:

Thornton is LSU 7th commitment in less that three weeks and the Tigers now have 16 total verbal commitments for the class of 2016.
