New LSU coach Brian Kelly was out recruiting on Wednesday and made stops in Baton Rouge and Lafayette to visit with recruits and meet coaches and administrators.

At Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Kelly visited with four-star OT commit Emery Jones and then went over to Lafayette to visit with five-star QB commit Walker Howard at St. Thomas More.

Kelly is very familiar with Walker as he was recruiting the elite passer while he was still at Notre Dame and hosted him for a visit in South Bend.

Later in the day, Kelly went over to Lake Charles to visit with four-star running back TreVonte' Citizen who recently de-committed from LSU.

Coach - just to let you know...it's ok to recruit non-Catholics.
