LSU head coach Lane Kiffin was in Ruston, La., on Friday and visited with five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson.
Hudson, a 6-7, 239-pound prospect from Ruston High School, is rated the No. 1 tight end in the country and the No. 9 overall player for the class of 2027, according to 247Sports.
Hudson originally received his offer from LSU in 2023, heading into his freshman season. The offer was given out by JR Belton, who at the time was LSU's Director of Recruiting. Belton was just recently promoted to Assistant General Manager by Lane Kiffin.
Hudson has visited and camped at LSU many times over the years. Expect him to be one of LSU's top priorities for the 2027 class.
