LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond made his way over to North Iberville High School on Tuesday and visited with three-star athlete Bra'jon Melancon.

Melancon, a 6-0, 175-pound recruit from Rosedale, La., ranks as the No. 34 athlete in the country and the No. 16 player in the state for 2027, according to 247Sports.

The rising junior holds offers from Arkansas, Houston, Tulane, Memphis, and several other schools. He recently visited LSU in March.

Not an overly impressive offer sheet. I trust Cory and I also have to believe he is very fast and twitchy
