The LSU coaching staff extended an offer to four-star running back Robert Washington on Tuesday night. He announced the news on Twitter:


Washington, a 5-10, 215-pound prospect from Huntersville, NC (Southlake Christian Academy) is rated as the No. 13 running back in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of North Carolina, according to ESPN.

Both 247Sports and Rivals have Washington rated as the No. 15 running back in the country.

With LSU's offer, Washington now holds offers from nine different schools from the SEC.
