LSU landed a commitment from a Baylor offensive lineman Sean Thompkins on Friday.

Thompkins initially committed to North Carolina earlier this month, but visited Baton Rouge this week and is now locked in with the Tigers.

The 6-5, 300-pound lineman from Covington, Ga., played in 10 games this past season during his redshirt sophomore year and started in the final six games. He will have 2 years of eligibility left at LSU.

Thompkins is LSU's 33rd overall commit from the portal and the 6th offensive lineman transferring into the program.

This is what we needed the most. The O-Line was the worst I have scene at LSU in over 25 years!

I just can’t figure out if it was the players or the coach. Some of those guys were 5 star recruits.

Noticed that Lane is going after leaner, more athletic build offensive linemen that carry there weight well.
