LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker and edge rushers coach Kevin Peoples are out on the road recruiting this week and stopped in Houston on Tuesday to see four-star edge Kaden McCarty.
During their visit, the coaches extended him an offer.
McCarty, a 6-2, 220-pound defender from Cy Falls High Schools is currently committed to Texas A&M. He is rated the No. 11 edge rusher in the country from 2027 and the No. 10 player in the state of Texas.
