Four-star 2016 cornerback Chad Clay from Suwanee, GA (Peachtree Ridge) announced his top four schools on Friday night and LSU was No. 1.
His father, Willie Clay has a long-standing relationship with LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond from when they played in the NFL together, according to NOLA.com:
Clay is rated as the 17th best player in the state of Georgia and 18th best cornerback in the country according to 247Sports.

His father, Willie Clay has a long-standing relationship with LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond from when they played in the NFL together, according to NOLA.com:
quote:The 6-0, 177-pound prospect said that he should announce his decision in the summertime and would like to graduate and enroll early at whatever school that he picks.
"It helps a lot that they've been buddies for a long time," Clay said about Raymond and his father Willie Clay, who played with Raymond in the NFL. "There is a lot of trust there. With me being all the way in Atlanta, there's a level of trust there with Coach (Les) Miles and Coach (Corey) Raymond that makes my dad comfortable."
