Five-star quarterback Walker Howard has been committed to LSU since June of 2020 but was being recruited hard by Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly this season.

Walker, a pro-style prospect from Lafayette, La, visited South Bend in October for the Notre Dame vs. USC game.

It's safe to say he was pumped up on Monday night when he found out that LSU was hiring Kelly.

Walker committed to LSU over offers from schools like Alabama, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Penn State, Arizona State, and many others. He is the son of former LSU quarterback Jamie Howard (pictured above) who played for the Tigers from 1992-1995.

Bring in a big time coach and lock down a blue chip QB recruit as collateral? I dig it

And when he does so, don’t expect him to be broadcast on the web using profanity about our biggest rival’s coach. This guy seems classier and one who can restore class. Great gamble Scotty

Then you do not know Kelly and his past. Classy is not a word that has ever been used to describe him.
