Elite five-star edge rusher Trenton Henderson from Pensacola, Fla., will be announcing his college commitment on Wednesday, July 2, and is down to three final schools.

One of those schools is LSU, along with Texas and Florida.

Henderson, a 6-4, 225-pound prospect from Pensacola Catholic, is rated the No. 3 edge rusher in the country and the No. 5 overall player from Florida, according to 247Sports.

LSU currently has one defensive lineman committed for the class of 2025, with four-star tackle Richard Anderson from New Orleans on board with the Tigers.

Exactly. I have no interest at all in these media events when one day you have a commitment and then a month later you get “respect my decision”.

He's going to LSU. They develop NFL prospects and pay the best NIL. Not to mention they will be the SEC Champions this year and the next

LSU develops better and has much more NFL success than Texas, but Texas has better NIL for sure.

So the home school, the school that will pay him crazy amounts of money, and the school who has a guy who has developed a ton of defensive linemen and sent them to the pros. Logical choices.

Wasn't Pat Pete a Pensacola product? Hopefully Pat Pete got to talk to him.
