NCAA Tournament Projections - March 9, 2021

ESPN and CBS Sports released updated NCAA Tournament projections this week which included LSU.

ESPN has the Tigers as a No. 8 seed playing No. 9 North Carolina. The winner would likely go on to play No. 1 Illinois in the second round.

CBS has LSU as a No. 7 seed playing No. 10 North Carolina. The winner would go on the play the winner of No. 2 West Virginia vs. No. 15 Morehead State.

The Tigers are currently 16-8, (11-6 SEC) with a NET Ranking of 28 (up 1 spot since last week). They begin the SEC Tournament on Friday night, taking on the winner of No. 6 Ole Miss and No. 11 South Carolina in the quarterfinals.
