According to CommercialAppeal.com, Memphis is trying to set up a home-and-home series with LSU that would begin next season.

The University of Memphis is trying to nail down a home-and-home men’s basketball series with LSU that would begin next season in Baton Rouge and further strengthen a 2015-16 nonconference schedule that already includes Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Louisiana Tech.
ESPN's Andy Katz also confirmed Memphis desire to play the Bayou Bengals and talked about the LSU's upcoming schedule in this video.
