LSU Falls To No. 11 Auburn In Overtime, 91-90

PerLSUSports.net: AUBURN, Alabama – J'Von McCormick's short floater in the lane dropped through with 0.1 remaining in overtime to give No. 11 Auburn a 91-90 win over No. 18 LSU Saturday at the Auburn arena.

The Tigers are now 17-6 on the season, 8-2 in the league tied with both Auburn and Kentucky. The Wildcats defeated Tennessee on Saturday as well.

This team can not finish. They are superior to both Vandy and auburn but failed to show up at the end. I’ve never seen a team with so much talent fail so miserably at the end of games.

Why did we attempt a 3 at the end of regulation instead of driving for a 2 or collecting a fowl and win it by 1? Why take the lowest percentage shot?

After the Vandy loss Wade said they exposed our defensive weakness. Apparently our weakness is not being able to fight to the backside of the screen, which gives open 3’s. We couldn’t get around Vandy on Wednesday or today against Auburn.
