LSU Defeats Vanderbilt 77-69 For Fourth Consecutive Win

BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU Tigers pieced together its fourth consecutive win by defeating Vanderbilt 77-69 in its SEC home opener Tuesday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The Tigers improve to 10-5 and 2-0 in SEC play, while the Commodores fall to 5-10 and 0-2 in league play.
Jalen Cook finished with a season-high 28 points – just two short of a career-high and was joined by Jordan Wright’s 15 points and Mike Williams III 10 points and career-high eight rebounds.
Vanderbilt had five players finish with double-digit scoring, including Ezra Manjon’s 19 points, and 11 points each from Ven-Allen Lubin and Tyrin Lawrence, and 10 points each from Jason Rivera-Torres and Evan Taylor.
