Former LSU forward Daimion Collins has committed to South Florida after entering the transfer portal back on April 4.

The 6-9 junior from Atlanta began his career at Kentucky as a five-star prospect and transferred to LSU in 2023.

Collins appeared in just six games in 2023 due to a shoulder injury and played in 30 games this past season, averaging 8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

Hate losing Collins. Thought he improved and is going to have a breakout year. We need to replace his shot blocking

he was a work in progress but had made some offensive improvement this year although he was inconsistent. Would have liked to keep him and see if that improvement continued.
