Per LSUSports: Centerfielder Dylan Crews drove in four runs and second baseman Cade Doughty blasted two homers Thursday night as LSU defeated Vanderbilt, 13-2, at Hawkins Field.
LSU, which hit five home runs to increase its season total to 100, improved to 35-18 overall and 15-13 in the SEC. Vanderbilt dropped to 35-17 overall and 14-14 in conference play.
The teams resume the series at 6 p.m. CT Friday in a game that will be carried on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network and streamed on SEC Network +.
