Per LSUSports.net: Senior right-hand Ma’Khail Hilliard scattered seven hits over seven innings Thursday night, and third baseman Jacob Berry slugged two homers to lead LSU to a 5-3 win over Missouri in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
LSU improved to 25-12 overall, 8-8 in the Southeastern Conference, while Missouri dropped to 22-13 and 5-11.
The teams resume the series at 6:30 p.m. CT Friday in a game that will be broadcast on the LSU Sports Radio Network and streamed on SEC Network +.
