LSU pitcher Javen Coleman will make his return to the mound on Tuesday night vs. UL-Lafayette in what will be his first appearance since tearing his ulnar collateral ligament on Feb. 23, 2022, in a game at Louisiana Tech.

Coleman had Tommy John surgery last March and started throwing bullpen sessions in practice this past March.

Leah Vann first reported his return.

Should be good for maybe 30-45 pitches.

That's a super-quick return from Tommy John! Hope we can slowly extend him and get him ready for an Omaha run!

Hopefully get about 3 good innings from him, build his confidence up with hopefully some hot bats to get him a comfortable lead and let him rip

I mean no way can you expect him to be more than a 20-25 pitch guy this season...right? Man do we really need him right now.
