Per LSUSports.net: Ole Miss hitters collected 11 RBI on 12 hits to lift the Rebels to an 11-1 victory in the second game of the Saturday doubleheader inside Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

LSU and Ole Miss meet for the final game of the series Sunday afternoon. The matchup is set for a 1:00 p.m. CT start. It can be viewed on SEC Network+ and heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.

LSU falls to 33-17 on the season and 14-12 in the SEC. Ole Miss moves to 30-19 on the year and 12-14 in conference play.

If there was ever a pivotal series to gauge a team, this was/is it. The main issue with LSU is inconsistency. Could LSU still make a run? Absolutely but unlikely, as to make a run, a team needs consistent play game after game after game in the post season.

Continued errors. So many innings extended due to errors. LSU is a good team. Capable of making a run in the post season. But gotta get the errors in check.
