TUSCALOOSA, Al. – LSU left fielder Josh Pearson tallies an RBI single in the top of the seventh to propel the Tigers to a 6-3 win over Alabama Saturday afternoon inside Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
With the win, LSU improved to 33-19 on the season and 10-16 in the SEC, while the Tide dropped to 31-19 and 10-16 in the SEC.
The Tigers return Sunday at 1:00 p.m. CT to take on Alabama in the third game of the series. The contest can be streamed on SEC Network+, and it can be heard on the LSU Sports Radio Network affiliates.
