Former LSU star pitcher Kade Anderson sent the following message out on social media Thursday to say farewell to the Tigers:
quote:

I want to start by thanking LSU Baseball for the incredible opportunity to represent such a historic and respected program. Wearing the purple and gold has been an honor, and I'm truly grateful for everything this university and program have given me.

To the coaching staff, thank you for believing in me, pushing me to be my best, and helping me grow as a player and a person. Your leadership and support have been key to my development.

To my teammates, thank you for being more than just teammates; I'm proud to call you all my brothers. The memories we made together on and off the field will stay with me forever. Competing alongside you, learning from each other, and building that bond is something I'll always value. I'm so proud of what we accomplished together and even prouder to have been part of this team.

With all that said, I'm excited to start the next step of my career. LSU has prepared me for this moment, and I'm ready to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead. I'll always be grateful for my time here, and I'll carry the lessons, experiences, and pride of being a Tiger with me wherever I go.

Was proud to have him as a Tiger. His improvement from last year to this year is what brought home the trophy imo.
