LSU sophomore right-handed pitcher Eric Walker will start for the Tigers in the regional final on Sunday night, coach Paul Mainieri announced.

The Tigers will face the winner of No. 2 Arizona State and No. 3 Southern Miss at 8 p.m.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Hilliard come out the pen for an inning or two. He was so knockout last year and if we’re really going to make a run, we’re going to need him at some point.
