Multiple sources are reporting that Kentucky defensive end Jason Hatcher has been dismissed from the team after he was arrested on drug charges over the weekend. Per The Courier-Journal:
quote:This is not the first time Hatcher has dealt with off the field issues as he was suspended for the first two games of the 2015 season for an undisclosed violation of team rules and was cited for possession of marijuana in May of 2014.
Hatcher was listed among the current inmates at the Franklin County Regional Jail Monday morning. The jail’s website lists his charges as speeding (11 mph over limit), trafficking in marijuana (eight ounces to less than five pounds), tampering with physical evidence and buy/possession of drug paraphernalia. UK announced his dismissal in a news released just before noon Monday.
