I'm sure the coach of the team that just held the ball the entire game justified it by saying it was their best chance to win against a superior team. Looks like they still lost though. There is a good reason high levels of basketball have a shot clock.

ridiculous. Honestly, I'd rather lose by 30 than play keep away and 4-corners. Now sure, there's nothing wrong with slowing the game down (if you have inferior talent). But to do this kind of thing is embarrassing. I'm sure every player and every fan hated it - let the kids play.

Duke UNC did this same thing (among others) before shot clock in CBB

yes they did. Dean Smith was famous for the 4-corners before the shot clock. There was a big game where UNC did it, and that hastened the shot clock in college.
