Report: Florida Assistant Gerald Chatman Turns Down LSU DL Coach Job

Florida defensive line coach Gerald Chatman, considered a top candidate for the LSU defensive line coach job, will reportedly remain with the Gators, according to Fox Sports Bruce Feldman.
Chatman was a linebackers and defensive line analyst at LSU in 2021 and was the interim defensive line coach for the Tigers during the spring of 2023 when Jimmy Lindsey had to step away from the program.
He spent the 2023 season as Tulane's defensive line coach and spent the 2024 season with the Gators.
