Florida Promotes From Within To Fill Offensive Coordinator Position

According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, the Florida tight end coach and co-offensive coordinator Russ Callaway has been promoted to full-time offensive coordinator.
The 37-year-old coach was the offensive coordinator at Samford from 2016-2019 and then worked as a senior offensive assistant & analyst at LSU in 2020, followed by a year with the New York Giants as an offensive quality control coach.
He joined Billy Napier's staff in 2022 as a defensive intern and was promoted to tight end coach in 2023.
