Former Alabama backup quarterback Dylan Lonergan announced his commitment to Boston College on Tuesday.
Lonergan, a redshirt freshman from Snellville, Ga., has appeared in three games over the last two seasons, attempting eight passes for 35 yards.
Lonergan was behind starter Jalen Milroe and backup Ty Simpson on Alabama's depth chart this season.
