Four-star linebacker Chris Allen from Baton Rouge, LA (Southern University Lab) announced Sunday that he has committed to Alabama. He chose the Crimson Tide over LSU.
Allen is the No. 7 outside linebacker in the country and the No. 4 overall player from the state of Louisiana.
With the addition of Allen, Alabama now has 23 verbal commits for the class of 2017 which ranks No. 1 nationally.
