Alabama’s best argument for the CFP is that they beat ranked UGA and USC (in one score games)

Ole Miss beat those same two teams by a larger margins.

The other two common opponents (LSU and Oklahoma) slightly favors Ole Miss because losing to what was then a ranked team in OT is clearly not as bad as a THREE TOUCHDOWN LOSS in Week 14 vs an unranked team.
