Isn't the girl in the middle the same one who wiped her arse with the flag?

That's pretty excessive force unless the cop thought his life was in danger.

He was advancing with a deadly weapon. They're trained to respond with lethal force. They also have other people to protect. If the person charging is not subdued by tasers or pepper spray and stabs a bystander, every single one of those cops is liable for that.

I heard he identified as a UGA student.

That's why he was so depressed.

Cops could've handled it in a non-lethal way?

A knife is a lethal weapon hence the lethal response from the police officer.

Yeah, just ask all of the 9/11 flight attendants and pilots.

It was a multi-tool. Almost like needle nose pliers. Pootie Tang could've taken that away with his belt. That kid did not look very strong in the picture I saw.

Look at the picture the police released. It was on the ground and none of the blades were opened.

The victim told police it had a knife and a gun. The queer wanted to die. Or is it intersex? I can't keep up. I will just use "it" since he/she would be insensitive.

The cop should be celebrated. The victim got what it wanted and will be much less of a burden on the system dead. All the mental health treatment it would take to get it through the rest of its life would be expensive. Not to mention it would have probably eventually injured someone else.

Whether it was open or not, he/she still had a knife.

Sounds like the kid got what he wanted. If he didn't think he would have been shot, he wouldn't have done what he did.

If it didn't happen this time, it would have escalated bigger next time.

There has to be some line where people's actions have to be seen for what they are. There were probably 1000 opportunities for his parents or peers to help him more than they already did. I hate it for the parents, but blaming the cops for being led to lethal force by a suicidal adult is just blind.

Authorities are waiting for autopsy reports, but said the murders may have occurred on Friday and may have been committed using a Leatherman multi-tool.

Emergency responders transported the woman to St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, and then she was transported to Seattle, Washington for treatment of her life-threatening injuries, including multiple puncture wounds, the affidavit read. Deputies found an open Gerber multi-tool, with a broken plier’s blade at the house, which the accused may have used to stab the woman.

One man went to his vehicle, grabbed a multi-tool and used the knife to stab the victim, police said

A multi-tool consisting of a short bladed knife, a corkscrew and a bottle opener was in the closed position when police confiscated it during a search. What appeared to be blood residue was found on the blade of the knife. Hargrove is additionally charged with third-degree murder and possessing an instrument of crime.

Fair enough. But if you pull a multi tool on me I'm going to stick it up your arse. I'm not gonna shoot you.

From BBC

quote:

Schultz - who identified as intersex and preferred to be referred to by the pronoun "they" - was the president of the Pride Alliance at Georgia Tech, and was politically active in progressive causes.

You can't make this shite up

Obviously a multi tool can kill somebody. So can a fork or a lead pencil.

The point is whether a cop with a vest and years of training is justified in killing some long haired kid with depression issues who is waiving a multi tool around. One of the points in police training is to handle and diffuse situations hopefully without somebody getting killed.

I am as big of a supporter of law enforcement as you'll find but some of the circumstances surrounding recent shootings are troubling.
